MY WAY Venetian Street​

The "venetian" Way is a food-street located in a 56.000 M2 underground Shopping Centre, designed basing on the Venice model, as requested from the commercial strategy of the client.

The challenge of the project was to match the refined venetian architectural style with the massive structure of a 30 storey bulding basement floors, reproducing the suggestive scenic impression of the venetian palaces facing to the canals. So, an artificial canal is built on first level, with an arcade way alongside the water leading by bridges to the 12 different restaurants. The opened central part is designed as an "acquatic Square"   with a stage for classical concerts, sourrended by the terraces of the Ice-cream and Cafe' areas at ground floor and the italian restaurant on 2nd floor. The big structural column (2x2m) and beames are hidden in the decorations and the counterforts connecting the 2 sides, where the facades and the interior design of the restaurants are expressely inspired from the celebrated venetian palaces.
