The new Volgograd History Museum is located on TSUM General Stores, and propose an adaptation of the historic building for the new destination use.

The main entrance hall is conceived as an indoor open square, visually open to the outdoor city with a 5 stores glass-frame designed by the main big portal of the complex.

The internal facade is composed as open street, with balcony and coffe-terraces getting into the hall.

The hall lead to main exhibition space completed by the glass-dome, and the upper floors.

The use materials aims to create a transcendent feeling, with the mix stone and glass, materiality and spirituality, that generate the history.
